Brakes problem
1998 Ford Expedition V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Bought used expedition. Brake light is on on dash. While under the hood I found disconnected wirng. So i reconnected it. Light on dash went out WOO HOO!!!
NOT!!!! took SUV out drive came to a stop. Horrible nosie coming from Brakes. Popped the hood. Light back on and Noise is gone? IS this the ABS system? Can it be replaced by me? OR am i going to regret buying my used expedition that i love!!!!

I strongly recommend taking it to a dealer to have it checked. There was a recall on the master cylender / cruise control wiring. It may have been disconnected for a reason. The wiring was actually causing fires, so have it checked.
