Brakes problem
1998 Ford Expedition V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic? Miles

when the front wheels are turned (like moving into a parking space) the brakes don't work. You can hear a loud clicking noise coming from the anti-lock brake system. Once the wheels are turned straight again the brakes work again. It's only 11 degrees here so I don't want to spend to much time laying in the snow trying to figure out what the problem is. Can I just pull the fuse out of the anti-lock system until the weather gets better?

You can remove the fuse, but the ABS WILL NOT WORK. Chances are there is a build up of dirt / corrosion on the sensor causing it not to identify the wheel is moving when you are going slow.

Ok I can go with that. Where is this sensor located and what do you recommend for cleaning it? Can I just use an air gun or do I need something like brake parts cleaner?
