Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1997 Ford Expedition V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 140.K miles

have moter off and put dial on transfer case on 2wd, transfer case finally kicked back on torque, moters still out but the notched out hole dosnt move when switch dial on dash, and when put in 2wd front driveshaft turns, when put in a4wd front driftshaft quits turning. Moter wont go back in, hole in moter is straight up. Dial on driveshaft is to left to be in 2wd. Any way to get moter notch to move to left to match up. I can do without my 4wd for now. Or do I need to get a new moter? Even with moter out do the rest of wires going into transfer case tell front driftshaft to kick in in 2wd? We are broke and can really use some help. I can scape up to get a moter if needed, Sorry cant donate now, but could really use some help here.

Hi:
It sounds like the motor needs replaced. It is somewhat common for them to go bad. As far as the other wires, they are for indicator lights, go to the computer.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Joe
