Just got my plugs and wire changed on my 97 Expedition mechanic says my intake manifold is leaking coolant onto wire and plugs. He says it will destroy plug wires. Will this leak effect engine performance in any way? Should I worry about the leak?

yes it would but he should let you see that its leaking and where
