1997 Ford Expedition idle rough

When I a, at a stop it idles rough but dont stall out and sometimes while driving it looses power the rpm go up but does not wana go over 30 then eventually after giving it gas it kicks back in and runs

Hi:
First is the check engine light on? Second, when it looses power do the RPM's go up and the vehicle not speed up? Does it seem like the trans is slipping?

I have the same problem. I replaced one coil pack, and it ran fine for a while and the problem came back. So I don't know.

The other guy said veh revs high and tranny seems to be slipping.

This is also the same with mine.
