what can be the cause of sudden total drain on battery? When the cable's are fasten to the battery and then I open back door a clicking noise kind of like it is hit and miss on a connection. I was told that if the cable's are correct and making any cotact at all then cant be problem "It's either connected or not "so I ask if a spliced cable can be the drain?

The connection at the battery shouldn't hurt anything. What I need you to do is conduct a battery draw test. I will provide the directions at the end of this post. Following the directions, if there is a draw, remove one fuse at a time from the fuse box until the draw stops. Then you will have identified the circuit that is causing the problem. From that point, we will need to check the items the circuit provides power to for probles.

Here is the how to. Check it and let me know what you find.
