Truck turns on great, runs great until i need to go into overdrive. The Overdrive lights starts flashing and it never kicks in. Is there a Overdrive sensor, relay anything that would cause it not to go into overdrive? It just doesnt seem that i need a rebuilt transmission if it runs until that happens. Any Ideas, i can do process of elimination, thanks

If I had to guess I would say the torque converter isn't working properly. If the light has been on, chances are the computer has a trouble code stored in it. I would recommend having it scanned to help identify what the problem is. Most parts stores will do it for free.

Let me know what you find.
