My Oil dipstick pipe broke. It was wierd, but I think I can reach it enough to put some duck tape or copper repair pipe tape around the outside at the break. I don't think any oil is leaking---Is this an OK idea???--my most recent concern recently is humidity or moisture getting in the hole the past few days as I have been pondering what to do????

I would recommend replacing the tube. It is held on by one bolt and the other end just has an o-ring that pushes into the engine block. As far as tape, I don't know if it will hold because of the heat.
