2000 Ford Excursion Two Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles

My truck will start up fine then dies when I take the gas off. If I gun it I can get it to go but dies the minute I take gas off.

Has the check engine light on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Any vacuum leaks?
