fuel line

1991 ford escort 1.9L 250,000km hi when i start my car it drips gas under the gas tank. The car runs fine but leaks gas it does not stall. my question is does this sound like the return line is damaged?
and will it be a costly repar to have a mechanic put a new line or lines in

Hi there,

You will have to get the car on a hoist and have a good look around, it may just be a gasket at the fuel sender or a rubber hose, but regardless with the price of fuel these days you will only be saving money getting it fixed.
