I have a 2002 Ford Escort ZX2, 5 speed, with approx. 42,000 miles, not sure of engine size. It started fine, then when it was shut down for about 5 mins or so, it would not restart. Had it jump started, let it run for about 5 mins or so, then when I went to turn the headlights on, the engine died and would not restart. What could be the cause of it?

Yes the car will still run. Don't know if they are LED or bulb. But it will involve removing the cluster of instruments to access.
