Hi, I have a 1996 ford escort lx, 1.9 with 106,000 miles on it. It started running rough and started to stall, battery light was on . replaced battery. Then it started to backfire and will not keep and idel. Replaced the spark plugs and all the wires, along with the cap. Before all this it wasn't wanting to start easy,no sign of smoke. It is getting gas to the engine. Any help, please.
