2002 Ford Escort ZX2. 49,000 miles. Service engine soon light is on and starts blinking around 40mph. Took it to Auto Zone, tester said issue was with cylinder 4. I put in new spark plugs (NG) still having the same issue. I put on new wires (NG) still having the same issue.
Now they suggested I purchase a new ignition coil. they explained it is broken into 4 parts and that maybe one section is NG.
Do you think this could be the problem?
and if it's NOT................... does that mean I've tried everything and it's a blown cylinder?
