I got a service engine soon light the other day and when I got home I checked my air filter and fluids and everything looked fine, but the next time I tried to start my car it started and shut off immediatly. I asked the auto parts clerk about it and he sold me some mass air flow sensor cleaner. After I took that out and spraed it off my car would start and run fine for 10 seconds then do the same thing. So I figured I would get a new sensor and that turned out to be a waste of $121 since it didn't solve the problem and I can't return the part after I install it. So any idea what else the problem would be. The car starts right up and while it is running it idles just fine no miss firing or puttering, but then it is like someone turned the car off and it just stops. If I hit the gas pedal it putters a bit kinda like when an old carborator engine would get flooded and then stops.
