my daughter recently had an electronic diagnostic done u know where they hook the scanner i guess its called, under the dash, well the diagnostic was she had a bad or maybe just out of position camshaft sensor. i think she should get another opinion, but what do u think? how common is this analysis on 02 ford escorts?

Where was this diagnostic done? Mechanic or parts store. Do you have an autozone nearby? Go there they scan for free. Let me know how it goes.

They ran the codes for the camshaft position sensor which is a common failure. Here is the location so you can swap it out. Clear the codes when completed. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
