I have a 2001 Ford Escort, when i drive my car about a mile or so it would drive fine until i have a stop. As i step on the gas pedal in the start of the go my car will jurk into the next gear. It doesn't do this all the time just when it is a hot day or i go on the freway and get off then go again. What if anyting can i do to fix this problem?
