There is a rather loud scrapping noise coming from my front passenger side wheel well. It started after I hit a rather large pot hole. I checked the suspension and its fine but i can't seem to find exactly what is causing it . Now its gotten worse there is a clunking sound coming from it now during the scraping sounds though sometimes now all the noises stop before resuming again. The only other way the noise stops is if i turn the wheel towards the driver side. I would Really like to know what is wrong so i can fix it.

Have you checked brakes? Does the noise change intensity when turning one way or the other?
