2001 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

reverse lights dont work,gear box switch ok,lamps ok,one wire tested ok to lamp cluster,cant trace other ?

Check the black wire its the ground and the other comes from the rang switch on top on tranny when in reverse it should have power on it and the black is ground all the time.
