Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Ford Escort Two Wheel Drive Manual 72000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a Ford Escort Estate 1.8 Turbo Diesel. 1 have just opened the doors and the central locking was slow and sluggish. When I tried to start the engine all my dash lights flashed rapidly and there was a rapid clicking noise.

Is this the immobiliser? and if so how can I sort it out.

We have had pretty bad rain the last 2 days. don't know if that has anything to do with this.

Can you help???

How old is your battery? SOunds like a bad battery.

If it's original, replace it.
