Air Conditioning problem
2001 Ford Escort 4 cyl Automatic 122586 miles

I need to know the name of the sensor/switch that controls the cold air for the air conditioner. The freon is full, and the heat, and air flow are fine. I also need to know what regulates the spedometer, as is only reads the speed at random times. The rest of the time it just hangs out at zero mph.

Thank you

The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) controls the speedo. As far as the other question, I'm not sure I understand. The blend door controls the temp of air getting into the vehicle. As far as a sensor for the AC and heat, I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.
