hi, i recently replaced the dash lights, and head lights in my 2000 for escort, i tested it after changing the lights..and it worked fine. this morning however on my way to work it suddenly died as i was driving.

definitely could be a bad alternator, advanced auto parts tests them for free... start there and see if it the alternator.
