2000 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

driving normally down the road, car quit. checked for spark and spark is all normal, all fuses related the the fuel system are intact, don't have alot of experience repairing fords (much prefer to drive hondas) easiest access to the fuel pump and filter? or any other ideas as to what the problem might be.

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge and check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump
