I have a 1999 Ford Escort that recently stalled out on me while slowing down at a red light. We were able to jump start the car but after that it starting making a loud banging noise and when I would slow down again for a stop sign or to turn it would stall out again. It will start but will immediately stall if not given enough gas. Any ideas? The check engine code is P0304. Spark plugs and wires have been replaced and so has the coil pack.

Check the oil level, is it at the correct level? Then have the cylinders compression tested. Let me know

It might be good to check the idle air control valve, mass airflow sensor and the airfilter along with the little breather filter inside the airbox, very common in these escorts
