1999 Ford Escort spark plug in too tight

Have an electric dewalt (292) impact wrench - specs claim it has 360 ft lbs of torque. Do you suppose i could get away with a short burst with the impact wrench to loosen the plugs. If not i quess i could try a 1/2 inch breaker bar.

This isn't a good sign.
You're going to pull the threads out.
I would soak the plugs in some Penetrating oil a day ahead of time. Then warm the engine and try it.

GO a little pressure clockwise and a little pressure CC and see if you can't get a little movement and then work it back and forth from there.

Other wise you are going to get into a heli-coil situation...if it goes well.
