my service engine soon light came on. took it to an advanced auto parts. they ran their diagnostics and read catalytic converter. light went off for a while... came back on about a month later, and after a couple weeks i noticed that every once in a while it felt like it was stuttering when keeping a steady speed. no other problems i noticed. since then it started happening more often. when driving up-hill it was much more noticeable. eventually the service engine soon light began blinking for misfires. i stopped driving it the next day... but the day that happened (3 times in total) i noticed a popping sound if i accelerated to push it up the hill.

i planned on selling/trading in the car very soon. i would obviously like to sell a working vehicle, but it's not worth sinking much money into for me. i was told everything from spark plugs to fuel pump. what seems to be the best way to start the troubleshooting? anything seem most likely and is there an easy/cheap fix?

Hi shawnxhalo,

P0303 = Misfire detection monitor.

P0455 = EVAP control system leak detected. ( No purge flow or large leak)

The diagnostic files are very large so I wll email them to you. Let me know if you do not receive them within a few hours.
