1999 Ford Escort RE: Posted b4 on Car turns off

This Escort turns off when shifted from Park to Drive. It will turn on and run. In Neutral its ok. In Reverse ok. Only when shifted into any Forward Drive (automatic trans) will it turn off. Any ideas?

Transmission still acting up.
I have checked the fluid hot and cold and it is ok.
Car turns off when shifted to any forward gear.
Turns on and idles good, neutral is good, reverse is good.
Drive or any other forward gears and the car dies.
