1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

hiya i have a escort 55 van 1.8 endura and i put a td engine from a escortlx 1996. it wont fire up i think its the immoliser to the pump is there anyway i can bypass it so it will fire up?
