1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Installed a new coil and we are not getting firing to the plugs. What could be causing the problem and what would the solution be?

did the old coil have spark or none?

if it had spark before replace, check the wiring and that everythign is hooked up and its the proper part.

if not it may be faulty.
