My daughter has a 99 Escort ZX. It starts fine, but once she drives it, it stalls whenever she takes her foot off of the gas. At every stop sign or red light it has to be restarted. I replaced the fuel filter, plugs and plug wires and the engine runs better, but this did not take care of the stalling.
