Ok to start I purchased this car from a police impound auction, now it has me scratching my head. What I have checked so far: Timing is correct, fuel pressure is good, Batery is Good, replaced fuel filter. I still have the same problem and that is the engine just spins no fire from coil pack (Checked with ignition tester or little spark plug thingy) there are tree wires going into the coil ohm meter says there is power to all three at different times Ie key on Key in start. I replaced the coil pack and capicitor with one from a running engine (same year model) with no sucess. from what I can tell one wire takes power from the ignitions switch and the other two go to the eec are there any fusable links or relays that I may have over looked? It has an auto matic transmission and I thought maby that might be the cause(neutral safty switch) however the wiring diagram that I have says the safty switch goes to the eec. if the problem was there the eec should be sending a code. Which there are none according to my code reader. Help!!!
