1999 Ford Escort blower motor wont work

1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I took the blower motor out an it works so I changed the switch that controls the speed of the motor still doesnt kick on an I checked all the fuses. What could it be

You need to check relay and power
you need to use a test light or volt meter
check for power at the blower motor
place switch at high
blue wire should have battery power
and black /blue should be ground
if ground present check blower motor resister
if no power check blower motor relay (relay box left side of dash near kick panel )
check wiring
