My question is after I have removed the alternator and bought a new one how do I properly install it? Big question is how do I loosen and unloosen the belt?

GENERATOR
Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable. Disengage drive belt from pulley. Remove power steering hose bracket from generator bracket. Remove generator mounting bolts. Remove generator. Disconnect wiring from generator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten lower generator bolt to 15-22 ft. lbs. (20-30 N.m). Tighten upper generator bolt to 29-44 ft. lbs. (40-55 N.m).
