1999 Ford Escort AC compressor and the high pressure switch

The AC compressor will only run if you unplug the high pressure switch, also with the high pressure switch uplugged the electric fan runs constant.
HELP!

yeah, i know, your gonna have to have that high pressure swich replaced. but first make sure that you ac has the correct amount of refrigerant. because if its low then its not gonna come on or it will engage every couple of seconds,depending on how much refrigerent is in the system. and of course if your refrigerent is low then that means you have a leak somewhere. I know, it sucks!!!
