Air Conditioning problem
1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 125K miles

The A/C quit working, so I took it to a mechanics shop and they told me it was 'probably' the A/C control module, yet the cooling fan still works. My questions are; where is this module located and is there any way to test it before I buy one ?
