I have a 1999 Ford Escort and it belonged to my grandparents but they gave it to me. When my grandfather was driving it he had a friend work on it and that friend messed the part up and it cost at least $200-$300. So we bought it home and we weren't able to drive it b/c of that part. It was located under the wheel, it was called a "Racket pin" or something. If we tried to drive it we would have to grip the steering wheel firmly then yank on it to get it to turn, but we would give up and put the car back into the spot. It won't turn for nothing. What should I do?
