1999 Ford Escort Two Wheel Drive Automatic 125000 miles

My car will start fine but when i go to put it in drive the gear shift wont move off park. I push the brake in but it just goes all the way to the floor

Hello,

Look under the vehicle and look for fluid leak. Also take a look in the Master Cylinder to see if it is full or not.
