I HAVE A 1998 ESCORT AND I CAN'T GET THE TIRE OFF AFTER I TAKE THE WHEEL NUTS OFF. WHAT I'M I MISSING?

has it got alloy wheels ?? if so they swell and contract with heat over time and get stuck to the hub with dirt and rust etc. get behind the wheel with a block of wood and a hammer .. place the wood to the wheel rim and tap with hammer .. do this all way the around the rim .. it will free off
