1998 Ford Escort replaceing the heater core

I have removed the radio, the instrument cluster, the passenger airbag, and parts of the vent tubes. I have removed the bolts that I can see that hold the unit that the heater core is in. The unit is still not coming out of the dash. I am curious of all the steps I need to take to take out the heater core.
