Engine Cooling problem
1998 Ford Escort 4 cyl Manual

hi i have leaking radiator hose, leak is at the point wher radiator cooling fan switch is moulded into the hose, is it possible to remove switch, i have a replacement hose, but the plug has 4 wires, the existing plug only has a 2 pin connection.what can i do . thankyou

Hi there,

Was this a genuine hose? if so exchange it for the correct hose, if not go get a genuine hose as if you try and modify it you may have more over heating problems to deal with.
