1998 Ford Escort neutral safety switch

where is the neutral safety switch located on this car i was told it was on the clutch peddel asembly. And if so I have looked up the part and every one i have found does not match up with what the parts store has.

Manual transmissions do not have a neutral safety switch. They have a clutch switch. That is mounted on a bracket where the clutch pedal rests against it.
