1998 Ford Escort
----------------------------------------------------------------
After having major repairs done on my car since last year, replaced engine due to broken timing belt, I have a rattling sound coming from somewhere. At first I was told by my mechanic that it was the convertor shield cover, now I am being told that it is a cracked flywheel.
Can anyone help? And if it is the flywheel, do I have to have my mechanic repair it, or is it easy enough to have a family member or friend fix it?

Replacing the Flywheel
you have two options
1. remove the tranny
2. remove the engine
