1998 Ford Escort Cooling fan replacement..

My cooling fan stopped working and i could not find an alternate one then i bought 1 from an old workshop but i don't know how long it would work.
My question is Can i replace this cooling fan with any other model? which one?

We only recommend direct fit replacement parts. I checked on line parts stores and everyone has them.
