Engine Cooling problem
1998 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100k miles

the raidator fan i already checked wich is good the problem is the fan is not coming on to cool off raidator.there are two sensors on the driver side of the head were coolant flows a single wire one i guess
for the temperature gauge an next to it a 3 wire one i think.i disconect the the 3 wire conector an in
5 sec the fan came on,when i plug it back up the fan cuts off so thinking thats the problem i replace that sensor an it still did the same thing so i disconect the sensor plug to allow the fan to stay on.

Hi:
The sensor sends a signal to the fan relay then to the motor. Have you checked the realay?
