why have I had to refit back wheel bearing 5 times in 7 months, always back left. Axle seems ok

From your subject you have noise in the rear left axle that you keep refitting.
Have you replaced the race as well as the bearing? It could be scoured from the original bearing. Also check your stabalizer bars and linkage they could be bent misaligning the axle assy putting force on the bearing.
