1998 Ford Escort AC working with no air from vents?

Hello,

I have a 98 Ford Escort wagon and recently the air stopped blowing from the vents. the AC works and seem to be blowing from the windshield and foot well areas only at full fan speed eventhough the knob is set to the front vents. Any ideas?

Check vacuum source under the hood and in through the fire wall
vacuum applied to door to open and close if no vacuum doors default to 90% defrost
