My wife has a 1998 ford escort with a 2.0 basic 4 cylinder car. The car seems to want to run fine until you put it in gear. I have cleaned the injectors and replaced the oringsl Replaced the idle air control valve, installed new motorcraft plugs and wires. There is no light on to pick up a code. Could it be the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator? Please help, as this is very annoying. I have a friend who is a ase mechanic at a local dodge dealership and I think that he is about as much as frustrated as I am. Thanks
