1997 Ford Escort Throttle position sensor

I have a 1997 ford escort. It has a faulty Throttle position sensor. I have the new one, and a Chilton manual for the car. I was hoping it would be as easy as unplugging the old one and hooking up the new one in the same position. The manual says to install the new one you have to rotate it 45 degrees the 90 degrees and stuff like that. With no pictures. It�s kind of confusing. I was wondering if you could clear it up for me or if you had like diagrams or pictures of install?

Install the TPS at closed throttle the signal wire should read .65 volts as you gradually open the throttle to full it will 3.9 volts
