I am trying to replace the TPS in my car. It has been losing power while I am driving and rpm's rev up and down while car is idling. Does this sound like the problem to you? Could you give me any assistance possible please?

for the rough idling i would suspect a faulty IAC moduel or a vaccum leak, same for the loosing power overtime.

but i wouldnt be to quick for ruling out the TPS, take and check its voltage at closted throttle, then WOT then slowly sweeping from closed to WOT, should be steady.
