I have a 1997 Ford Escort and I need to replace the hoses from the dryer to the compressor. How do I separate the old hose from the dryer? (Picture Escort AC Connection 1) How do I separate an inline connection? (Picture Escort AC Connection 2)

There are spring clip tools available at all parts stores, wrap the tool around the line and push it into the joint, then pull the lines apart., Tool is required to do the job.
