I have replaced the master cylinder and the rear shoes and rear drums and bled the system real good. I have a problem with the rear brakes (chattering) upon applying the brake paddle and it does the same if I use the emergency brakes. The chatter will shake the car. I can't see anything that I have done wrong or see anything wrong with the rear brakes. I check the rear wheel cylinders they are free and do not leak. Can you give me any idea as to how to correct this problem?

Thanks very much.

Sounds like one/both shoe hold down clips has not been put back correctly or has become detached again ??

Thanks Dave, I will check those CLIPS. Today I also changed the wheel cylinders just to make sure it wasn't them and I still have the same problem. I will check those clips as soon as I can maybe tomorrow.

Thanks very much.
